Generally, if you want to change an active proposal status from Active → Complete, you will need to do so manually by clicking the Actions button and selecting "Complete".

However there are some instances where a proposal will be automatically marked as Complete.

Practice Ignition will automatically mark a proposal as complete if:

  • Continuous Recurring Billing has been turned OFF on the proposal
  • All the services on the proposal have been invoiced and there are no remaining items to bill
  • The end date has passed (only applies if a proposal has recurring services)
