Generally, if you want to change an active proposal status from Active → Complete, you will need to do so manually by clicking the Actions button and selecting "Complete".
However there are some instances where a proposal will be automatically marked as Complete.
Practice Ignition will automatically mark a proposal as complete if:
- Continuous Recurring Billing has been turned OFF on the proposal
- All the services on the proposal have been invoiced and there are no further invoices
- All of the payments have been collected (if payments are enabled) and there are no further payment collections
- The end date has passed (only applies if a proposal has recurring services)
